The Stephenson County (Illinois) Highway Department will remove the 2021 Spring Weight Limit Postings on Stephenson County highways on Monday, April 05, 2021.
Please note that this change applies to county roads only. While the Highway Commissioners for the townships within Stephenson County generally coordinate with us, it is their decision when the spring weight limit postings on their roads are removed.
The below map, also available for download here, shows the current weight/size restrictions for the bridges within Stephenson County and is helpful for planning OS/OW transport routes within the county.
