Trip permits in the state of Arkansas are now valid for 5 days instead of 3 for most loads.
The state announced on the home page of its online permit system that effective January 8, 2020 single trip permits will be for the duration of 5 days.
There are exceptions to the new rule, which include the following;
- Hay movement trip permits will remain valid for 3 days
- Sealed container will remain valid for 6 days
- House movements will remain valid for 2 days
